At Invaio, we’re driven to accelerate the leap to a more nature-positive era for agriculture. Building on advances in human health and digital innovation, we’ve pioneered an “active ingredient + delivery system” approach to develop breakthrough technologies for agriculture. Our scientists discover and enable the delivery of new naturally derived bioactives to better meet the needs of farmers, society and the environment.

Working with nature

We bring a systemic perspective to each crop challenge, working with nature to find solutions to help nature. Our aim is to transform the way crops are protected from damaging pests and diseases while minimizing agriculture’s environmental impact:

Our mission is to leave every acre better for generations to come. By harnessing advances in science and digital innovation, we believe it is possible to meet the food security concerns of today, while also making agriculture much more sustainable both today and for generations to come.

Our GenAI-enabled “active ingredient + delivery system” paradigm focuses on whole-system solutions that not only reduce the damage caused by pests, but also care for the whole crop system, farm workers and the environment. This approach will drive new crop protection solutions that can address issues arising from climate change challenges such as increased pest pressure, disease resistance and water use efficiency as well as reducing the use of conventional pesticides.

Rather than focusing on just creating new synthetic molecules – which often have off-target and adverse environmental impacts – our “active ingredient + delivery system” approach focuses in two areas:

Discovery and design of novel naturally derived active ingredients with superior environmental benefits and new modes of action
Programmable delivery systems that enable the efficient and effective use of novel bioactives and ensure they go directly where and when they are needed

We listen to and learn from nature, combining our team’s broad experience with a powerful GenAI-enabled discovery engine. We’re opening new avenues of discovery and designing innovative bioactives that can be tailored to treat specific insects or diseases. With the acquisition of Peptyde Bio, we’re accelerating our peptide pipeline and aim to deliver more nature-positive solutions to growers that are not only better for the environment but also protect their yields.

Breakthrough delivery systems

We have developed both biological and physical delivery technologies that will enable growers to adopt much more sustainable options. Our cross-disciplinary scientific teams have identified breakthrough delivery technologies that not only accurately deliver our new bioactives but can also enable existing molecules and biologicals to be delivered with greater efficiency, overcoming performance and reliability issues with current biological controls.
