Proprietary delivery platforms

Our new, precision-delivery technologies are more effective and better for the environment than conventional methods on the market.

We are transforming biological and physical delivery in plant health, ensuring just enough active ingredient goes where and when it’s needed.

Technologies unique to Invaio

Our proprietary technologies are the first major innovations around targeted delivery in crop protection for 25 years. They’re robust, versatile and highly effective and are designed to respect the whole crop system. We focus on targeted, programmable delivery in two ways: biological and physical.

Trecise™ application technology

Trecise™ is our proprietary application technology. Its innovative micro-delivery tips are tailored to the type and size of tree as well as the active ingredient. They are designed to precisely and efficiently deliver to the tree’s vascular system for optimal distribution, maximum protection and minimal residues. By working directly with the tree’s natural systems, we can prolong and maximize the impact of active ingredients – unlocking new potential for biological actives.

Our Trecise™ technology can be tailored to control the depth, pressure and volume of each infusion – avoiding large wounds to the tree while tackling the most troublesome diseases and insects. We are also developing automation of this system for large scale applications.

Biological delivery systems

Nature-derived Lipid nanoParticles (NLPs)

This technology harnesses natural communication frameworks. These Nature-derived Lipid nanoParticles are inspired by plants’ cell-to-cell and cross-kingdom communication tools, and are completely versatile carriers that bring active molecules or messages for improving plant health.

These NLPs are designed to encapsulate bioactives for easier uptake, better distribution, and increased bioavailability within soil and the plant. As a biological delivery system, this is a more effective and more sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers and micro-plastics that don’t easily biodegrade.

Microbe-Derived Particles (MDPs)

These programmable particles form a robust biological delivery system that can be tailored to tackle a wide range of crop health challenges.

Each tailored solution is designed to carry a natural protein that acts specifically on the pest or disease in question, does not leave a harmful footprint and degrades quickly within the environment. This non-replicating microbe-derived delivery system works in the plant and pest microenvironments and delivers a targeted, stable and predictable outcome to improve crop system health. It can be adapted to work with RNA, proteins, peptides and any other programmable biological actives.
